Renowned for its diverse mix of art forms, Drogheda Arts Festival also utilises a range of evocative and compelling venues, including the superb St Peter’s Church of Ireland, the refurbished Droichead Arts Centre, and the beautiful Highlanes Gallery. In addition, so much of the Festival takes place on the streets of the town that Drogheda itself becomes one big venue during the five days. The calibre of artists and the tradition of commissioning new work have ensured that the programming has been critically acclaimed, while the emphasis on family and participation means that Drogheda welcomes young and old into its historic streets and buildings for creativity, fun, and new experiences.
